사도행전 2장 38절
베드로가 가로되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 세례(침례)를 받고 죄 사함을 얻으라 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받으리니
Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

마태복음 3장 16~17절
예수께서 세례(침례)를 받으시고 곧 물에서 올라 오실새 하늘이 열리고 하나님의 성령이 비둘기 같이 내려 자기 위에 임하심을 보시더니 하늘로서 소리가 있어 말씀하시되 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라 하시니라
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’

요한복음 3장 22~23절
이후에 예수께서 제자들과 유대 땅으로 가서 거기 함께 유하시며 세례(침례)를 주시더라 요한도 살렘 가까운 애논에서 세례(침례)를 주니 거기 물들이 많음이라 사람들이 와서 세례(침례)를 받더라
After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptized. Now John also was baptizing at Aenon near Salim, because there was plenty of water, and people were constantly coming to be baptized.

로마서 6장 3~4절

베드로전서 3장 21절
물은 예수 그리스도의 부활하심으로 말미암아 이제 너희를 구원하는 표니 곧 세례(침례)라 육체의 더러운 것을 제하여 버림이 아니요 오직 선한 양심이 하나님을 향하여 찾아가는 것이라
and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

마가복음 16장 16절
믿고 세례(침례)를 받는 사람은 구원을 얻을 것이요 믿지 않는
사람은 정죄를 받으리라
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

사도행전 8장 35~38절
빌립이 입을 열어 이 글에서 시작하여 예수를 가르쳐 복음을 전하니 길 가다가 물 있는 곳에 이르러 내시가 말하되 보라 물이 있으니 내가 세례(침례)를 받음에 무슨 거리낌이 있느뇨 이에 명하여 병거를 머물고 빌립과 내시가 둘 다 물에 내려가 빌립이 세례(침례)를 주고 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. Why shouldn’t I be baptized?” And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.
